Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field or equivalent experience with third-party meeting management vendor or agency experience
- Experience working on or part of offsite corporate meetings and events with experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated track record of cultivating strong working relationships and driving collaboration across multiple teams with strong written communication skills
- CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) or other industry certification with Strategic Meetings Management Program (SMMP) experience in third party or buyer role
- Business Travel experience with knowledge of venue sourcing, contract negotiations, and group travel coordination
- Experience maintaining and strengthening third-party vendor relationships with ability to foster customer obsessed environment across global teams
- Ability to work onsite in Nashville, TN
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of meetings and events management or hospitality experience with 2+ years of meetings operations management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating implementation for global service delivery
- Intermediate to advanced user-experience with common Meeting Management technology (Cvent, Stova or equivalent) for comprehensive event management
- Customer-obsessed professional approach with ability to masterfully orchestrate end-to-end event management services across multiple business units worldwide
- Keen eye for detail with ability to monitor compliance with standard operating procedures while ensuring flawless event planning and execution
- Experience working with both internal and third-party service delivery teams for comprehensive meetings and events program delivery
- Ability to act as first point of escalation for customer service issues with track record of resolving and converting challenges into solutions
Job Duties
- Support the Global Offsite Meetings and Events Service Delivery Manager in management of day-to-day execution of services by the Offsite Service Delivery team
- Ensure the Offsite Service Delivery team understands culture, vision and customer expectations for seamless execution of services supporting business goals
- Act as first point of escalation for customer service issues and escalations while tracking, resolving and converting into solutions as key collaborator within JLL client leadership team
- Execute project-based work within offsite services vertical acting as Subject Matter Expert while ensuring all standard operating procedures across third-parties are updated and consistent within regions
- Maintain and strengthen third-party vendor relationships on behalf of client while driving and implementing operational standards, training and highest level of customer services
- Foster customer obsessed environment while continuously reviewing procedures and policies and recommending improvements and updates
- Oversee every aspect of event execution from initial venue sourcing and contract negotiations to group travel coordination, website development, and financial management
- Drive excellence through diverse team fostering collaborative environment that spans time zones and cultures for global service delivery excellence
