Job Requirements
- Completion of the 12th grade
- Two years of increasingly responsible clerical and secretarial experience
- Ability to interpret and apply departmental policies
- Capacity to make independent decisions
- Proficient typing skills at 50 words per minute
- Familiarity with office methods, procedures, and equipment
- Sensitivity to diverse academic, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds
- Ability to work full-time with specified work schedule
- Availability to submit application materials by deadline
Job Qualifications
- Completion of the 12th grade
- Two years of clerical or secretarial experience
- Ability to work independently and organize workload
- Proficiency in written and oral communication
- Knowledge of office management and record keeping
- Ability to operate office equipment and computer applications
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Greet visitors and provide information to students, staff, and the public
- Act as a receptionist and handle telephone calls
- Process forms and reports ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Maintain files and records and prepare correspondence
- Assist with class schedule preparation
- Manage purchase orders, requisitions, and verify receipts
- Perform admissions procedures and compile instructor contracts
- Assist with budget planning and payroll record maintenance
- Coordinate instructor evaluations and room scheduling
- Maintain mailing lists, attendance, and sick leave records
- Compute faculty load levels and manage budget accounts
- Collect and refund fees
- Maintain supervisor schedules and familiarize non-staff with office procedures
