Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in administrative or receptionist roles
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Reliable and punctual work attendance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role preferred
  • Familiarity with workers compensation claims process is a plus
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Open and close the front of the office daily including locking and unlocking the front door turning on and off the company welcome slideshow and refilling the candy and mint dishes
  • Complete first report of injury and create the claim in Breeze as needed
  • Primary phone answering and directing of calls
  • Alphabetize Explanation of Benefits for any checks and pass off to administrative assistant
  • Coordinate shred bins and presorted mail as needed
  • Track Christmas gifts received in office from third parties and mail off thank you cards after receipt
  • Stuff claims checks or any outgoing AP/AR checks as needed
  • Assign messages to adjusters that are uncategorized in Breeze
  • Add new claims to Worldox
  • Email claim confirmations to agents
  • Scan completed audit packets and attach them to policyholder account in Breeze
  • Email monthly and quarterly reports that are internal and external
  • Print envelopes for settlement checks and send out to claimants
  • Scan bills and medical records received by adjusters and send them to Comptech
  • Confirm cash check dates for providers and send copies to provider
  • Greet all office visitors and validate their parking tickets
  • Order catered lunches for the company and individual departments as needed
