Job Requirements
- Some secretarial and receptionist experience
- an associate's degree or higher
- maintain high confidentiality
- be a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a current temple recommend
- able to work 28 hours per week
- able to work in office five days a week between 8am and 5pm with occasional outside hours
Job Qualifications
- Some secretarial and receptionist experience
- an associate's degree or higher
- superior receptionist and secretary skills including computer use with Windows programs, proper telephone etiquette, filing, and professional writing including correspondence and minutes
- ability to work effectively with student employees and other departments
- demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- knowledge of the mission and policies of WSR and Brigham Young University
- excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- demonstrated ability to prioritize, adapt, and work well under pressure
- strong problem-solving and decision-making skills within assigned authority
- maintain high level of confidentiality
- excellent business and technical writing/editing skills
- bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
Job Duties
- Serve as the main office receptionist and provide administrative support for the WSR office
- provide secretary/receptionist work for Sexual Assault Survivor Services (SASS) office when needed
- train, supervise, and support student employees in the WSR office
- connect office patrons with appropriate resources and referrals
- manage the office budget, financial records, and reports
- prepare expense reports and travel authorizations
- reconcile the office's purchases and receipts
- complete office and departmental purchases as needed
- assist in hiring student employees and doing contract paperwork
- coordinate the office schedule each semester to ensure coverage
- assist in event evaluations and semester reports
- conduct staff meetings as needed
- assist in the planning and carrying out of WSR events
