Job Duties

  • Serve as student administration management (SAM) system administrator and primary contact
  • assist with SAM training
  • ensure timelines are met
  • input and maintain required data on student administration management system
  • run site specific queries/reports
  • serve as secretary/receptionist for building principal
  • organize manage and supervise office operations and personnel
  • perform a variety of administrative support functions regarding school personnel including entering payroll purchase orders and requests for maintenance and building repair
  • order and store all supplies
  • request checks for payment of school expenditures
  • assist with inventory of school's furniture and equipment
  • administer medication to students with parent authorization
  • monitor students on medication
  • provide minor first aid and notify parents in case of emergency
  • open sort and route mail packages and special deliveries to appropriate individuals and departments
  • assist with handling attendance tardiness and dismissals of students
  • schedule students and change student schedules as directed
  • operate a variety of office equipment including typewriters computers and facsimile machines
  • input and retrieve data and text and maintain disk filing and storage
  • enter food service report
  • secure and store lunch applications for federal lunch program
  • maintain list of students who receive assistance from department of human services
  • collect and receipt all money maintain proper bookkeeping and prepare funds for deposit
  • handle arrangements for transportation for field trips and special events
  • perform other related duties as requested or assigned
