Job Qualifications

  • Experience in organizational management or systems preferred but not required
  • previous experience in a scheduling position and handling multi-line phone systems is a plus
  • comfortable and efficient using technology and learning new processes
  • applicants are a minimum age of 18 years old
  • exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Job Duties

  • Welcome patients to the office and assist in onboarding new patients
  • manage daily patient schedule
  • answer phones and schedule patient appointments
  • communicate clearly with patients and/or parents in person and through text, email, and phone
  • communicate with doctor and dentist offices regarding mutual patients
  • track daily, weekly, and monthly statistics regarding patients, financials, and appointments
  • learn to anticipate needs of doctor and teammates to ensure an efficient workflow throughout the day
  • oversee communication with referring offices
  • participate and help drive marketing efforts that contribute to growth of the practice
  • work cohesively with team members to create an excellent patient experience
  • verify insurance and assist in managing patient accounts
  • help improve efficiency of office systems
