- No experience required, on-the-job training provided
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to learn and adhere to company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- One (1) year of prior multi-line reception experience or dispatching experience preferred
- Ability to establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Basic knowledge of scheduling and dispatching resources
- Capable of using radios, telephones, and computers for communication and coordination
- Ability to address and resolve work-related issues
- Willingness to learn and undergo on-the-job training
- High school diploma or GED not required
Job Duties
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers
- Schedule and dispatch resources, including team members, crews, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations
- Ensure timely and efficient movement of resources according to work orders and resource schedules
- Oversee all communications within specifically assigned areas
- Receive or prepare work orders and work schedules
- Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work performed, service details, inventory, and dispatch information
- Recognize and mitigate issues within the department and other work environments
- Confer with clients and supervising personnel to address questions, problems, and resource requests
- Monitor resources and utilization to coordinate services and schedules for optimal efficiency
- Compile statistics and reports on work progress
- Monitor daily services and provide updates and reports
- Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards established by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities
