Job Description

Audi South Burlington is a premier automotive dealership recognized for its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction in the South Burlington area. As part of the respected Shearer Automotive Group, the dealership upholds high standards of quality and service, providing a wide range of luxury vehicles alongside exceptional after-sales support. The dealership prides itself on creating a welcoming and professional environment for both its clientele and staff, ensuring a positive experience at every touchpoint. Audi South Burlington seeks to recruit a detail-oriented and proactive Office Assistant/Receptionist to enhance the efficiency of their administrative operations while delivering outstanding customer service.

The position of Office Assistant/Receptionist is a multifaceted role designed for a professional who thrives in a dynamic dealership setting. This role not only encompasses traditional receptionist duties such as greeting visitors and managing communications but also involves critical administrative responsibilities related to vehicle registrations and title processing. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in maintaining the fluid operation of the office by ensuring all vehicle-related documentation is accurately prepared, submitted, and tracked according to regulatory standards. This contributes significantly to the overall dealership efficiency and helps uphold Audi South Burlington's reputation for reliability and professionalism.

In this role, you will answer phones, provide front-desk support, and manage inquiries with a positive and helpful demeanor. You will handle registrations for new and used vehicles across various states, prepare tax and title paperwork, and submit legal transfer documents to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). A key aspect of the role involves verifying the accuracy and completeness of these documents to prevent any compliance issues. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing payoff checks for trade-ins, tracking outstanding title work, and providing status reports to management, ensuring complete transparency and effective communication within the organization.

Additional responsibilities include signing over titles for wholesalers, generating monthly financial reports regarding collected funds, and managing the processing and registration of vehicle warranties and extended service contracts while maintaining accurate logs. Ongoing professional development is encouraged through attendance at seminars and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest title regulation changes. This continuous learning ensures your ability to comply with all legal requirements and contributes to your professional growth within the automotive field.

Audi South Burlington values precision, organization, and a strong work ethic, making this position ideal for someone who enjoys detailed administrative work and customer interaction equally. As part of the Shearer Automotive Group, the dealership offers a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive work environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to establish or advance their career in automotive administration, gaining valuable skills and experience in a top-tier dealership setting.
