Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service or office experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work with minimal supervision
  • Professional demeanor and sensitivity to a funeral service environment
  • 10-key by touch experience preferred
  • MAS90 and Microsoft Access experience helpful

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Answer and route calls using a multi-line phone system
  • Receive customer payments and process credit card transactions
  • Maintain appointment schedules and support the Sales team
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence
  • Create and organize contract folders and office records
  • Perform data entry, proofreading, and document collection
  • Replenish and maintain sales, administrative, and office forms
  • Maintain inventory of office and breakroom supplies
  • Prepare daily refreshments and ensure shared areas are orderly
  • Provide backup support to the Office Coordinator as needed
  • Assist with special projects and general administrative tasks
