Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • at least six months of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • proficiency with PCs printers calculators and other office equipment
  • ability to use word processing software and create spreadsheets
  • strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Answer phones and provide receptionist services including greeting visitors and managing inquiries
  • process registrations for both new and used vehicles in their respective states
  • accurately prepare tax and title documents
  • submit legal transfer documents to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)
  • verify the accuracy and completeness of all applications and documents
  • prepare payoff checks for trade-ins
  • track outstanding title work and provide regular status updates to management
  • sign over titles for wholesalers and generate monthly reports on collected funds
  • process and register vehicle warranties and extended service contracts maintaining accurate logs
  • stay current with title regulations by attending relevant seminars and training sessions
  • perform other administrative duties as assigned
