- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year progressively responsible work-related experience
- eligible to work in the United States
- able to work on site at the UW Family Medicine Clinic in Cheyenne, Wyoming
- willingness to participate in training and professional development
- ability to set and achieve performance-related goals
Job Qualifications

- 1 year progressively responsible work-related experience
- experience in a medical clinic or healthcare setting
- strong attention to detail
- strong communication skills
- customer service experience
Job Duties
- Perform basic front desk/receptionist support of the UW Family Medicine Clinic
- perform light bookkeeping duties including accepting patient payments, applying patient payments to accounts, assist patients with sliding fee scale applications
- discuss problem accounts or billing issues for problem resolution, refer difficult issues to supervisor
- provide data entry and modify or correct information on the electronic medical record
- set up and use various specialized typing formats and type detailed or technical data
- perform customer relations duties including screening calls and individuals, making appointments
- proofread and edit own or others' work to correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, sentence and paragraph structure errors
- provide resolution to forms processing problems
