Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year progressively responsible work-related experience
- Available to work on site at UW Family Medicine Clinic in Cheyenne, Wyoming
- Eligible to work in the United States
- No required licensure, certification, or registration
- Good communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Basic computer skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year progressively responsible work-related experience
- Experience in a medical clinic or healthcare setting
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service experience
Job Duties
- Perform basic front desk/receptionist support of the UW Family Medicine Clinic
- Perform light bookkeeping duties including accepting patient payments, applying payments to accounts, assist patients with sliding fee scale applications
- Discuss problem accounts or billing issues for problem resolution
- Provide data entry, modify or correct designated information on electronic medical records
- Set up and use specialized typing formats to type detailed or technical data
- Perform customer relations receptionist duties, screen calls and individuals, and make appointments
- Proofread and edit own work or the work of others to correct errors
- Provide resolution to forms processing problems
