Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent from recognized accrediting organization
- ability to pass comprehensive background checks including criminal, Georgia Long-term Care, and credit checks
- ability to complete additional onboarding requirements such as physical or drug screening if required
- ability to uphold confidentiality and cybersecurity standards
- must be able to work daytime shift Monday through Friday
- willingness to serve as backup in business office duties
- ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and visitors
- no tobacco use on campus
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- one year of administrative support experience preferred
- experience creating and designing newsletters preferred
- excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Publisher
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- ability to prepare financial and other records accurately
- ability to make decisions when necessary
- ability to work with diverse populations including elderly and emotionally upset individuals
Job Duties
- Answer multi-line phone system
- greet the public and provide information
- issue temporary and permanent parking permits
- maintain parking permit log
- maintain records of resident benefit fund transactions
- balance and reconcile donated funds account
- compile monthly reports
- design and publish monthly newsletter
- sell stamps to residents and staff
- issue vending machine refunds
- assist director with business services projects
- serve as backup for other business office positions
- maintain casual Friday participation list
- train business office staff in reception and newsletter duties
- perform other related duties as assigned
