Job Description

World Mission Ministries (WMM) is a dedicated organization operating under the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. It serves as a pivotal hub for promoting and supporting global missionary work through two distinct but intertwined entities: The Society for the Propagation of the Faith (Pontifical) and the Archdiocesan Office for World Mission (Local). The Society focuses on mission animation, vocational support, and crucial Pontifical fundraising efforts that benefit the global Catholic Church. Job Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in communications event planning or office administration
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite design software including Canva Publisher and Adobe
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to manage deadlines work independently and commit to occasional evening or weekend availability for events
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel within the Archdiocese of Milwaukee

Job Duties

  • Develop and manage strategic communications across all channels including social media and website updates
  • Maintain and update donor communication and appeal mailing lists to ensure accuracy and outreach effectiveness
  • Monitor engagement metrics and adjust communication strategies to enhance audience reach
  • Lead the planning and delivery of mission-focused events both virtual and in-person
  • Oversee all logistical aspects of event planning including venue selection scheduling content development and volunteer management
  • Evaluate event outcomes and implement improvements
  • Provide administrative support including preparation and management of quarterly board meetings
  • Maintain and update constituent data in the organizational database
  • Streamline office operations by improving administrative processes and supporting cross-departmental coordination
