Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- must be at least 18 years old if position requires driving cargo handling equipment
- valid driver's license and Port Authority or Airport Authority permit if applicable
- ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- availability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- compliance with WFS site security procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- ability to learn and apply PC skills
- ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
- effective communication skills
- customer service experience preferred
- knowledge of DOT regulations and air carrier procedures
- ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Drive all cargo handling equipment
- retrieve import and export documents to and from aircraft
- report to work on a regular and timely basis
- prepare flight documents and enter data accurately
- interface with U.S. Customs and prepare import/export documentation
- accept and distribute cargo per regulations
- comply with site security procedures
- move cargo weighing up to 70 lbs
- solicit orders and talk with customers
- estimate delivery dates
- comply with safety and regulatory standards
