Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • must be at least 18 years old if position requires driving cargo handling equipment
  • valid driver's license and Port Authority or Airport Authority permit if applicable
  • ability to lift up to 70 lbs
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • availability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
  • compliance with WFS site security procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • ability to learn and apply PC skills
  • ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
  • effective communication skills
  • customer service experience preferred
  • knowledge of DOT regulations and air carrier procedures
  • ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Drive all cargo handling equipment
  • retrieve import and export documents to and from aircraft
  • report to work on a regular and timely basis
  • prepare flight documents and enter data accurately
  • interface with U.S. Customs and prepare import/export documentation
  • accept and distribute cargo per regulations
  • comply with site security procedures
  • move cargo weighing up to 70 lbs
  • solicit orders and talk with customers
  • estimate delivery dates
  • comply with safety and regulatory standards
