Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver's license
- port authority or airport authority permit if applicable
- at least 18 years of age if position requires driving cargo handling equipment
- ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
- must be available to work overnight shifts
- ability to lift up to 70 lbs with no exceptions
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver's license
- airport or port authority permit if applicable
- ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
- minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute
- ability to concentrate on detail
- ability to learn and apply PC skills
- ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and overnight
- ability to drive cargo handling equipment
- ability to handle physical demands such as lifting up to 70 lbs
Job Duties
- handle the stress of a fast-paced eight-hour shift
- drive all cargo handling equipment
- step up to an above ground level
- retrieve import and deliver export documents to and from aircraft
- perform computer data entry
- prepare all flight documents
- interface with U.S. Customs
- prepare all import and export documentation
- accept and distribute cargo
- comply with WFS site security procedures
- remain alert to security breaches or suspicious occurrences
- solicit orders and communicate with customers
- quote prices and terms
- prepare sales contracts
- estimate delivery dates
- move cargo up to 70 lbs
