Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age if position involves driving cargo handling equipment
- ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to work overnight shifts
- ability to drive cargo handling equipment
- ability to step up to an above ground level
- ability to retrieve import/export documents from aircraft
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- valid driver’s license
- port authority or airport authority permit if applicable
- ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and overnight
- strong communication skills
- basic computer literacy with ability to learn PC skills
- minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
Job Duties
- Perform computer data entry
- prepare all flight documents
- interface with U.S. Customs
- prepare all import and export documentation
- accept and distribute cargo in compliance with air carrier and DOT regulations
- comply with site security procedures
- report security breaches or suspicious activities
