Job Requirements

HS diploma, GED or equivalent
must be at least 18 years of age if position requires driving cargo handling equipment
must have a valid driver's license and Port Authority or Airport Authority permit if applicable
ability to lift up to 70 lbs
ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced eight-hour shift

Job Qualifications

HS diploma, GED or equivalent
ability to learn PC skills and apply knowledge
ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and days off
effective communication skills
strong attention to detail
customer service orientation

Job Duties

Ability to drive all cargo handling equipment
retrieve import/deliver export documents to and from aircraft
report to work on a regular and timely basis
prepare all flight documents
interface with U.S. Customs
prepare import and export documentation
accept and distribute cargo in compliance with regulations
comply with WFS site security procedures
report security breaches and suspicious occurrences
compile customer lists for sales leads
solicit orders and communicate with customers
quote prices and prepare sales contracts
estimate delivery dates based on schedules
move cargo up to 70 lbs
