Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age if position requires driving cargo handling equipment
- Valid driver’s license and Port Authority or Airport Authority permit if applicable
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced eight-hour shift
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and days off
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Ability to learn PC skills and apply knowledge
- Ability to fluently read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and days off
- Valid driver’s license and applicable port or airport authority permits if driving is required
- Demonstrated customer service skills
Job Duties
- Drive all cargo handling equipment
- Retrieve import and deliver export documents to and from aircraft
- Prepare flight documents and perform computer data entry
- Interface with U.S. Customs and prepare import/export documentation
- Accept and distribute cargo according to regulations
- Comply with site security procedures and report breaches
- Communicate with customers to solicit orders and provide delivery estimates
