Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- valid driver's license
- at least 18 years of age if driving cargo handling equipment
- ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
- physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs

- ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
- minimum typing speed of 50 WPM
- ability to concentrate on detail
- ability to learn and apply PC skills
Job Duties
- Handle the stress of a fast-paced eight-hour shift
- drive all cargo handling equipment
- prepare documentation prior to flight arrival or departure, review, organize, make copies, and distribute accordingly
- travel to Airport Operational Area (AOA) to meet flights to retrieve or drop off flight documents
- notify Broker or Freight Forwarder on Master Airway Bill (MAWB) of shipment arrival or hold
- assist customers retrieving documents and freight
- collect charges and document payment methods
- process Customs Out (proof of delivery) for every transaction
- assist in completion of MAWBS for over-the-counter shipments
- confirm all bookings are accepted
- confirm TSA mandatory screening
- capture AWB information into airline systems
- manifest flights based on warehouse information
- print and deliver flight manifest, cargo pallet message, deadload, and NOTOC to aircraft
- verify post-flight inventory with documents
- maintain files of documents and records
- prepare various reports including irregularity, weekly import, and export statistics
- answer calls and respond to emails
- maintain security under Airport Police, TSA, and United States regulations
- retrieve import/deliver export documents to and from aircraft
