Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 or more years of business office experience
  • experience with bookkeeping or accounting preferred
  • bilingual English and Spanish highly preferred
  • strong organizational skills
  • proficiency in office software
  • ability to multitask and prioritize
  • excellent communication skills
  • customer service orientation
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 3 years experience in a professional business office environment
  • experience in bookkeeping or accounting preferred
  • bilingual in English and Spanish highly desired
  • fundamental understanding of office practices and discretion with confidential information
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • excellent customer service abilities
  • proficiency with computers and Google Office products
  • outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • integrity and honesty in business transactions
  • valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • perform daily administrative duties as required by plant manager
  • prepare month-end closing information and detailed cost analyses
  • assist with filing and document record-keeping
  • assist with purchase orders, payables, credit card reconciliations, bank deposits, cost-tracking, and fuel usage
  • maintain inventory levels for plant and office supplies
  • keep office spaces clean and organized
  • receive, distribute, and prepare correspondence and reports
  • assist with company event coordination and preparation
  • maintain conference and training room calendars
  • assist with new hire onboarding and employment compliance
  • communicate with employees regarding benefits and employment verifications
  • assist with employee benefits enrollment process
  • track and enter timekeeping data and labor planning
  • process boot reimbursement requests and recognition awards
  • organize employee engagement activities
  • partner with safety team on site safety and environmental issues
  • prepare and maintain safety and compliance documentation
  • serve as plant contact and receptionist
  • maintain visitor logs
  • manage communication with site vendors
  • assist with special projects
