Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of supply chain and/or production planning experience in a manufacturing setting or related field
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Culinary experience preferred, not required

Job Duties

  • Responsible for detailed food production scheduling, inventory management and controlling finished goods inventory levels at a 35,000 square foot food production facility
  • Responsible for ingredient ordering, inventory controls, production planning and scheduling through projection of customer demand based on prior volume and incoming orders
  • Develop daily and weekly production plans by projecting customer demand based on historical volume and site orders
  • Plan and schedule labor, equipment, and ingredients to maximize efficiency while meeting capacity requirements
  • Monitor reports to align supply with demand and initiate corrective actions as needed
  • Create frontline production schedules that meet customer needs and operational demands while aligning with budgets and collective bargaining agreements
  • Communicate with vendors and corporate supply chain to resolve issues and incorporate changes to the production plan
