Job Requirements
- Associate in Applied Science Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Two years of COTA experience
- Certified by National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) or eligible to apply and obtain license within one month of hire
- Licensed by Arkansas State Medical Board as Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States
- Pre-employment screening including criminal background check, drug testing, and education verification
- Ability to perform constant physical activities including hearing, lifting, manipulating items with fingers, reaching, sitting, and standing
- Ability to perform frequent physical activity including talking
- Ability to perform occasional physical activities such as crouching, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, and stooping
Job Qualifications
- Associate in Applied Science Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Two years of COTA experience

- Licensed by Arkansas State Medical Board as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Strong background in treatment of neurologic disorders
- Ability to provide compassionate and effective care tailored to geriatric patients
- Strong interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
- Familiarity with Arkansas State Board of Occupational Therapy regulations and agency policies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Job Duties
- Provides fine motor assessment and treatment using evidence-based techniques
- Implements direct therapy for patients in fine motor skills, visual perceptual motor skills, sensory processing, self-help skills, upper extremity strength, range of motion, muscle tone, dynamic balance for functional tasks and trunk stability
- Collaborates with therapy professionals and clinical staff to ensure positive patient outcomes
- Monitors patient progress and recommends treatment modifications
- Documents services and patient progress accurately and timely
- Verifies accuracy of documentation through review of progress notes and patient requirements
- Performs home treatments and other duties as assigned
