Job Requirements

  • Graduate of a nurse-midwifery program accredited by the American College of Nurse-Midwives
  • Must possess or be able to obtain current unrestricted license, DEA and prescriptive authority or eligibility to practice in Nevada as a CNM
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife

  • Graduate of a nurse-midwifery program accredited by the American College of Nurse-Midwives
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice

Job Duties

  • Provide comprehensive prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care to women
  • Collaborate with Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists to manage high-risk pregnancies
  • Participate in the Laborist Program at Sunrise Medical Center Hospital
  • Educate women and families on health, wellness, and childbirth options
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Uphold evidence-based practices and contribute to continuous quality improvement
  • Engage in ongoing professional education and training
