Job Requirements
- Graduate of a nurse-midwifery program accredited by ACNM
- possession or eligibility for current unrestricted license to practice as a CNM in Nevada
- DEA and prescriptive authority or eligibility in Nevada
- minimum 5 years experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife
- willingness to work full-time in Las Vegas, Nevada
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of a nurse-midwifery program accredited by the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM)
- minimum 5 years experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife
- current unrestricted license to practice in Nevada or eligibility to obtain licensure
- DEA and prescriptive authority or eligibility in the state of Nevada
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
Job Duties
- Provide comprehensive prenatal, labor, and postpartum care
- collaborate with Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists and hospital staff
- educate and counsel patients on pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care
- participate in the Laborist Program at Sunrise Medical Center Hospital
- maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- uphold high standards of patient safety and care quality
- engage in ongoing professional development and training
