Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, touch, climb, lift, and read for extended periods of time
- must be able to carry loads greater than 35 pounds and transport up to 70 pounds regularly
- must be able to work in a fast-paced, noisy, and sometimes limited movement environment
- must be able to maintain sanitation, food safety, and other food service environment requirements
- must be knowledgeable on the use, mixing and storage of chemicals, hazardous products and cleaning materials
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards
- ability to handle physical workload
- understanding of chemical use in food service environments
- strong attention to detail
- good communication and teamwork skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Maintain clean dining room floor, seating areas and garbage containers
- use wet floor signs regularly
- be on time all the time
- follow call in procedures if absent
- wipe table tops and chairs with damp sanitized cloth
- wipe down counters and sneeze guards
- replenish supply of clean napkins, condiments, and other items in dining room
- assist in cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils and pots
- maintain dish room and dish machine
- assist with cleaning other areas of the food court
- maintain kitchen and dining room for safety and cleanliness
- understand chemicals uses and dangers
- proper storage and use of small wares
- maintain controls eliminating theft and waste
- complete side work duties
- change beverage syrups
- maintain all kitchen equipment and dish machine
- ensure use of cleaning supplies and hand-washing facilities
- assess safety hazards and take appropriate action
- clean kitchen area including food storage areas, coolers, mop sink, ice machine and drains
- complete all daily tasks and duties actively
