Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a successful pastry chef
- 3+ years of experience in a pastry kitchen handling preparation and cooking
- Strong attention to detail
- Creative with a problem-solving approach
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, sanitation principles, baking techniques and nutrition
- Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays

- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, sanitation principles, baking techniques, and nutrition
Job Duties
- Craft a dessert menu that fits the concept and locale in partnership with the Executive Chef
- Prepare detailed recipe cards to ensure consistency in dessert preparation
- Motivate, teach, and inspire pastry cooks while maintaining a positive kitchen culture
- Communicate effectively with other chefs and staff, respond to feedback and adjust recipes as needed
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work station in compliance with DHEC regulations
- Report product shortages, equipment problems, or food quality issues promptly to the Executive Chef
- Participate in employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement
- Ensure guest experience is the top priority in all dessert preparations
