Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or certification in nutrition or related field
- Experience in public speaking and customer engagement
- Ability to lead cooking demonstrations and nutrition education sessions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in retail operations including stocking, facing, and cleaning
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organization
- Motivated to learn and develop professional skills
- Ability to work effectively in team environments
- Willingness to fulfill continuing education requirements
- Ability to lift and carry various weights frequently and occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks during shifts
- Comfortable working in varied environmental conditions including exposure to dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures
Job Qualifications
- Degree or certification in nutrition or related field such as dietetics, biology, biochemistry, or naturopathy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook
- Excellent public speaking skills
- Confidence in front of an audience for cooking demonstrations and nutrition education classes
- Ability to engage customers and promote events, services, and sales
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and priority management skills
- Self-directed with effective time management
- Team player willing to accept constructive feedback

- Passionate about providing nutrition education to crew, customers, and community

Job Duties
- Acts as the nutrition education resource for the customers, Crew, and community
- Provides customer service on the floor in the vitamin aisles
- Performs retail operations including maintaining customer literature files, book department, stocking and facing product, cleaning the vitamin department and store, and merchandising product
- Provides nutrition education through in-store nutrition and recipe demonstration classes, outreach nutrition classes, and regular trainings to Crew
- Provides private individual one-on-one health coaching sessions
- Works to build community relationships with practitioner partners, guest presenters, and event partners
- Seeks outreach opportunities to provide nutrition education and build brand awareness
- Maintains continuing education requirements through reading research and completing CE assignments
- Assists management with coordinating, organizing, and executing companywide events
- Responsible for printing materials used in classes, outreach, and coaching sessions
- Places orders for nutrition education supplies
- Provides training to Crew on promoting the NHC services, in-store events, and promotions
- Attends monthly meetings including NHC webinars and regional and sales building calls
- Acts as an event ambassador for in-store guest presenter classes during floor days
- Performs additional tasks as needed to support store operations and company goals
