Job Requirements
- A degree or certification in nutrition or related field such as dietetics, Bachelor of Science or Master of Biology, Biochemistry, Naturopathy
- Must have Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Outlook
- Excellent public speaking skills
- Experience in conducting cooking demonstrations and nutrition education classes
- Ability to engage customers effectively and promote events and sales
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and priority management abilities
- Self-directed with effective time management
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and accept feedback
- Commitment to continuous learning and development in nutrition
- Comfortable with retail operations including stocking and cleaning

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Acts as the nutrition education resource for the customers, Crew, and community
- Provides customer service on the floor in the vitamin aisles
- Performs retail operations including maintaining customer literature files, maintaining book department, stocking and facing product, cleaning the vitamin department and store, assisting with merchandising product
- Provides nutrition education through in-store nutrition and recipe demonstration classes, outreach nutrition classes, regular trainings to Crew, maintaining the Crew wellness board, motivating and encouraging Crew to participate in employee nutrition challenges
- Provides private individual one-on-one health coaching sessions
- Works to build community relationships through practitioner partners for referrals, guest presenters, event partners
- Seeks outreach opportunities to provide nutrition education and build brand awareness
- Maintains continued education requirements by reading and reviewing research, completing CE assignments
- Assists management with coordinating, organizing, and executing companywide events
- Responsible for printing materials used in classes, outreach, and coaching sessions
- Responsible for placing orders for nutrition education supplies
- Provides training to Crew on promoting the NHC services, in-store events, and promotions
- Attends monthly meetings such as NHC webinars, regional and sales building calls
- Acts as an event ambassador for in-store guest presenter classes during floor days
