Job Requirements
- Education degree or certification in nutrition or related field
- Experience in nutrition education or health coaching preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
- Ability to engage and educate customers effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks
- Willingness to perform retail operations including stocking and cleaning
- Ability to work well with a team and accept constructive feedback
- Commitment to continuous education and maintaining certifications
- Comfortable with physical activities involved in the role such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Available to attend monthly meetings and participate in community outreach
Job Qualifications
- A degree or certification in nutrition or a related field such as dietetics, biology, biochemistry, or naturopathy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook
- Excellent public speaking skills
- Confidence in presenting cooking demonstrations and nutrition education classes
- Ability to engage customers and initiate conversations to promote events, services, and sales
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and priority management skills
- Self-directed with effective time management abilities
- Team player open to constructive feedback
- Motivated to grow professionally and develop knowledge and skills
- Passionate about providing nutrition education to crew, customers, and the community
- Comfortable working in a retail setting performing operations such as stocking, facing, checking product expiration dates, and cleaning

Job Duties
- Acts as the nutrition education resource for the customers, Crew, and community
- Provides customer service on the floor in the vitamin aisles including assisting customers with product purchasing and providing educational resources
- Performs retail operations such as maintaining customer literature files, book department, stocking and facing products, cleaning the vitamin department and store, and merchandising products
- Provides nutrition education by offering in-store nutrition and recipe demonstration classes, outreach nutrition classes, regular training to Crew, maintaining the Crew wellness board, motivating Crew participation in nutrition challenges, and responding to questions
- Provides private individual one-on-one health coaching sessions
- Works to build community relationships with practitioner partners, guest presenters, and event partners
- Seeks outreach opportunities to provide nutrition education and build brand awareness
- Maintains continued education requirements by reading and reviewing research and completing CE assignments
- Assists management with coordinating, organizing, and executing company-wide events
- Responsible for printing materials used in classes, outreach, and coaching sessions
- Responsible for placing orders for nutrition education supplies
- Provides training to Crew on promoting the nutrition health coach services, in-store events, and promotions
- Attends monthly meetings including webinars and sales building calls
- Acts as an event ambassador for in-store guest presenter classes during floor days
- Performs hands-on tasks to support company success in the store environment
