Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Current regulatory clearances
- Current pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
- Health appraisal
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, and stretch
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends
- Completion of food safety training within one month of employment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Experience with food preparation
- Knowledge of federal and state nutrition regulations
- Ability to manage inventory and budgeting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with CACFP guidelines
- Basic computer skills for data management
Job Duties
- Engages regularly in team meetings and contributes agenda items
- Prepares and serves nutritious family-style meals and snacks
- Maintains kitchen, dining, and pantry sanitation and safety
- Manages inventory and food purchasing within budget
- Prepares required paperwork and manages communications for the food program
- Coordinates with staff and external partners to support nutrition program
- Supports children and families by fostering healthy eating habits
