Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in food service preferably in healthcare or related field
- Obtain CRT-Accredited Food Protection Manager or CFP certification within 90 days of hire

- Associate’s Degree in Hospitality or Nutrition preferred
- Minimum of 1 year leadership experience preferred
Job Duties
- Teach and maintain correct sanitation and personal hygiene procedures throughout assigned areas
- Complete assigned quality assurance monitors
- Apply reasonable judgment to interpret hospital and departmental policies and procedures
- Oversee day-end cash out and daily deposits
- Make cash register program changes when applicable
- Ensure proper preparation and service of meals
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and dating of food items
- Train new staff and lead new hire department orientation
- Participate actively in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures
- Perform other duties as assigned
