Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in food service preferably in healthcare or related field
  • Obtain CRT-Accredited Food Protection Manager or CFP certification within 90 days of hire

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant food service experience preferably in healthcare or related field
  • CRT-Accredited Food Protection Manager or CFP certification within 90 days of hire
  • Associate’s Degree in Hospitality or Nutrition preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year leadership experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Teach and maintain correct sanitation and personal hygiene procedures throughout assigned areas
  • Complete assigned quality assurance monitors
  • Apply reasonable judgment to interpret hospital and departmental policies and procedures
  • Oversee day-end cash out and daily deposits
  • Make cash register program changes when applicable
  • Ensure proper preparation and service of meals
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and dating of food items
  • Train new staff and lead new hire department orientation
  • Participate actively in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
