Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food service experience
- Current Food Service Sanitation Certificate or Illinois Food Handler Training Certificate or must obtain one within 30 days of hire
- Must demonstrate high standards of personal cleanliness and hygiene
- Must demonstrate pleasant, outgoing personality and commitment to quality
- Must demonstrate good communication skills
- Must be willing to work as a member of a team

Job Duties
- Help assemble and deliver patient meals per patient and direct patient care staff requests
- Effectively communicate with patients and staff
- Maintain a safe, sanitary environment in accordance with hospital policy and IDPH regulations
- Help assemble and deliver catered meals according to D-10 standards
- Assist with various assigned departmental duties
- Follow D-10 standards and philosophy
