Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid Kansas driver’s license required
  • Ability to operate commercial motor vehicles safely
  • Ability to travel between district locations
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in extreme weather conditions
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, lifting, and reaching
  • Must comply with attendance and punctuality standards
  • Ability to use technology such as iPads and office equipment
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Deliver food, groceries, and paper supplies on assigned route in a timely and safe manner
  • Assist managers with food product stocking
  • Deliver catering and box lunch specials and other equipment
  • Pick up and unload hot and cold transport carriers
  • Comply with Department of Transportation regulations while operating delivery vehicles
  • Process delivery forms and records accurately and promptly
  • Perform preventative maintenance on delivery trucks and keep them clean
  • Perform all assigned delivery route duties and additional assigned tasks
  • Serve as a member of the Food Drivers Team
  • Prepare and serve food for seasonal nutrition programs as needed
