Job Requirements
- equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade
- supplemented by training with food preparation, safety, sanitation, or other related areas
- one year of school food service experience
- ability to meet physical, mental and environmental demands of the position
- ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- valid Food Handlers Card/Certificate issued for Riverside County

- knowledge of basic arithmetical calculations and measurement processes
- knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to health and safety in cafeteria

Job Duties
- operate the Point of Sale for all meals served
- supervises children at the Point of Sale including ensuring accurate charge/accountability and ensure meal is reimbursable
- assist in washing and storing utensils, trays, and containers
- assist in maintaining the food service facility in a safe, clean, and sanitary condition
- restock milk cooler
- restock condiments
- restock salad bar
- prepare after-school program snacks
- performs other job-related duties as assigned
