- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Two years of experience in nutrition in a healthcare setting preferred
Job Duties
- Perform a variety of duties related to the set-up, delivery and food service
- Assist with daily dietary requests and needs of patients, visitors and caregivers
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Prepare, setup and replenish steam table, salad bar, cooler, baker's racks, coffee area, condiments and silverware throughout the meal period
- Make pizzas to order and maintain all ingredients
- Set up and support catering events
- Maintain the register and proper cash handling with overages/shortages of less than 1.5% of total drawer
- Ensure proper food temperature using calibrated thermometers
- Rotate, prepare and label all leftover food
- Set up, serve and collect dinner patient trays
- Complete cleaning assignments
