Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Two years of experience in nutrition in a healthcare setting preferred

Job Duties

  • Perform a variety of duties related to the set-up, delivery and food service
  • Assist with daily dietary requests and needs of patients, visitors and caregivers
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Prepare, setup and replenish steam table, salad bar, cooler, baker's racks, coffee area, condiments and silverware throughout the meal period
  • Make pizzas to order and maintain all ingredients
  • Set up and support catering events
  • Maintain the register and proper cash handling with overages/shortages of less than 1.5% of total drawer
  • Ensure proper food temperature using calibrated thermometers
  • Rotate, prepare and label all leftover food
  • Set up, serve and collect dinner patient trays
  • Complete cleaning assignments
