Job Duties
- Arranges food and beverage items for serving students and staff
- attends unit meetings and in-service training
- cleans utensils, equipment, and food preparation areas
- cooks food to meet nutritional requirements
- estimates food preparation amounts and adjusts recipes
- inspects food items and supplies for quality and compliance
- inventories food, condiments, supplies and equipment
- maintains sanitary conditions
- monitors kitchen and cafeteria safety
- performs other nutrition services functions as requested
- prepares food and beverage items
- reports equipment malfunctions
- serves food items
- performs other related duties
