Job Requirements

  • Valid Arizona DPS Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card prior to processing
  • Availability to work 8 hours per day for 9.5 months
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations
  • Completion of a high school curriculum or equivalent
  • Job related experience in food service or a similar specialized field
  • Ability to stand and walk frequently
  • Ability to lift and carry light-weight materials
  • Willingness to substitute for absent staff as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Job related experience within specialized field with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Targeted job related education that meets organization’s prerequisite requirements
  • Possess a valid Arizona DPS Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • ServSafe certificate
  • Ability to follow federal, state, and local regulations
  • Basic arithmetic and technical reading skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Learn managerial skills necessary to become a manager including ordering, receiving, forecasting, inventory, and end of day paperwork
  • Assist Food Service Manager with training new employees
  • Assist Food Service Manager with new employee follow-up visits
  • Substitute for employees, assistant manager, or manager who are absent
  • Participate in regularly scheduled manager meetings
  • Participate in on-site training as scheduled
  • Perform any other duties assigned as needed
