The organization provides comprehensive, whole-person, wraparound care that encompasses meals, housing assistance, health and social services, enrichment activities, and more. Job Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or similar environment preferred
- Proficient computer skills including email, Teams, and MS Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to develop professional and cooperative working relationships
- Ability to motivate and lead teams
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations including food safety and sanitation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Associate degree in Hospitality or Nutrition or Certified Dietary Manager desirable
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or similar environment preferred

Job Duties
- Responsible for the day-to-day meal service at the site
- Manage high profile events including food ordering and coordination
- Act as a liaison with all food service vendors
- Support inventory control and management
- Act as a concierge to seniors, guests and volunteers in the dining room
- Conduct intake and assessments of clients along with related agency documentation
- Oversee the collection of daily meal contributions and meal counts
- Provide accurate daily and weekly accounting of clients
- Draft and develop new systems and reports
- Distribute the monthly menus for the center
- Assist with the management of the Home Delivered Meal program
- Assist with training staff
- Support outreach efforts to promote program services in the community
- Report any suspicious circumstances or suspected elder abuse to Adult Protective Services as a mandated reporter
- Ensure compliance with all appropriate policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
