Job Requirements
- Two years of food service experience or one year hospital nutrition experience
- Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work early morning and late evening shifts
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Commitment to healthcare food safety and regulatory compliance

- Knowledge of therapeutic diets and nutrition service procedures
- Ability to train and supervise staff effectively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Lead daily operations of nutrition assistants to ensure efficient and compliant food service delivery
- Monitor and maintain food temperatures during cooking, holding, and storage
- Ensure adherence to hygiene, food labeling, and storage standards
- Oversee menu and diet accuracy, proper meal portioning, and presentation
- Train new and existing employees on policies, therapeutic diets, and procedures
- Provide direction to staff not adhering to policies and support leadership in performance reviews
- Maintain knowledge of recipe ingredients and food allergies to address dietary concerns
