Job Requirements
- Two years of food service experience or one year hospital nutrition experience
- Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work early morning and late evening shifts
- Availability for PRN (per diem) scheduling
- Ability to train and assist team members
- Commitment to following healthcare food service regulations and guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of food service experience or one year of hospital nutrition experience
- Knowledge of food safety and preparation standards
- Ability to train and lead a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work early morning and late evening shifts
- Experience in healthcare food service preferred
Job Duties
- Lead daily operations of Nutrition Assistants
- Oversee food preparation and service to meet menu and dietary requirements
- Train new and existing employees on departmental policies and procedures
- Monitor food temperatures during cooking, holding, and storage
- Ensure compliance with healthcare food service standards and regulations
- Collaborate with facility staff to optimize nutritional care
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff
