Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- minimum 4 years of work experience including at least 1 year of supervisory experience
- ServSafe food handler certification upon hire
- excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- basic math and computer proficiency
- positive attitude under stressful conditions
- knowledge of therapeutic diets
- ability to work full time on day shift, Monday to Friday with every other weekend

Job Duties
- Ensures the safety of customers and team members according to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points and County Health Department Guidelines
- monitors work groups to ensure proper hygiene and glove use
- upholds infection prevention practices and addresses potential risks
- monitors cleanliness and organization of all work areas
- monitors food and equipment temperatures and ensures proper recording and escalation of issues
- monitors storage of food and supplies including labeling, dating, and rotation
- ensures proper operation of equipment according to safety guidelines
- collaborates with management to interview candidates for open positions
- plans and facilitates work group goals to foster a positive environment
- monitors adherence to human resource policies and enforces disciplinary actions when necessary
- records employee attendance irregularities
- completes performance evaluations
- participates in and facilitates employee engagement and team development
- develops department work schedules and monitors employee punctuality
- ensures proper setup, maintenance, and breakdown of workstations
- monitors compliance with instructions and station responsibilities
- holds employees accountable for checklist and form completion
- ensures proper operation and care of equipment according to manufacturer and area-specific guidelines
- supports leadership and team members across departments to achieve service outcomes
- monitors uniform compliance and takes corrective action as needed
- collaborates with team members and leadership to meet departmental goals
- communicates respectfully and clearly
- respects cultural traditions of team members and customers
- performs other duties as assigned
- complies with Wellstar policies, standards, and code of conduct
