Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in large-scale food production preferred
  • ServSafe Certification required or within 90 days of job start
  • CPR Certification required or within 90 days of job start
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and perform repetitive motions
  • Good communication skills
  • Respect and patience for older adults
  • Good personal hygiene
  • Keyboard proficient

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in large-scale food production preferred
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures
  • Understanding of USDA and food service documentation
  • ServSafe Certification required or within 90 days of job start
  • CPR Certification required or within 90 days of job start
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve meals to congregate meal clients
  • Monitor the number of meals served
  • Distribute meals as needed
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
  • Use various kitchen equipment including ranges, dishwashers, slicers, and processors
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
