Job Requirements

At least one year of experience in an acute hospital or long term care setting within the last two years preferred
American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
must be detail oriented and organized
ability to work varied per diem shifts including evening and night hours
capable of working in a demanding and fast-paced environment
strong critical thinking and multitasking abilities

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience in a related field preferred
completion of Certified Nursing Assistant course or equivalent relevant experience
knowledge of medical terminology
strong computer skills
excellent communication and phone etiquette
ability to multi-task in a busy work environment
critical thinking skills

Job Duties

Take vital signs for patients
assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures
perform clerical and receptionist duties for the assigned department
demonstrate a positive attitude and efficient use of resources
maintain communication and customer service standards
work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse
comply with policies and procedures of the hospital and department
