Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Three or more years relevant work experience
- Experience in hospital setting as nursing assistant or related roles
- Certification as a nursing assistant or comparable qualification
- Ability to obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on PRN/Per Diem basis
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years)
- Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
- BLS is required within 90 days of hire
Job Duties
- Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
- Participate in hourly rounds
- Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
- Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
- Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
- Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
- Perform other duties as assigned
