Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to provide compassionate personal care
- Prior experience in caregiving preferred but not mandatory
- Effective communication skills in English
- Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to upholding PHS Christian Ministry values
- Availability to work part-time morning or evening shifts
Job Qualifications
- Caregiving experience helpful but not required for assisted living
- Demonstrated competencies in person-directed, elder/resident-directed practice
- Strong critical thinking and teamwork skills
- Self leadership and interpersonal effectiveness
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to communicate with all customers
- Compatibility with PHS mission and operating philosophies
Job Duties
- Provide high quality personal care and services to residents
- Support personally designed living choices of residents
- Maintain consistency with regulations and established best practices
- Demonstrate person-directed and elder/resident-directed care practice
- Collaborate effectively with team members
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with residents and staff
- Assist with daily living activities as needed
