Job Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required, Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years clinical nursing experience including labor and delivery
- Prior management or leadership experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of accreditation and regulatory requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, Master’s preferred
- Proven leadership experience in labor and delivery or perinatal services
- Strong knowledge of accreditation standards such as TJC, Title 22, and AWHONN
- Experience with electronic health records and clinical monitoring technologies
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Lead daily operations of labor and delivery triage, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and obstetric operating room
- Manage staffing, budgeting, patient throughput, and patient experience
- Ensure accreditation readiness and regulatory compliance including TJC, Title 22, and AWHONN acuity
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, midwives, and pediatric specialists
- Oversee mentorship, shared governance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Utilize technology such as wireless fetal monitoring and AI-supported early-warning tools
- Partner with Director of Women's and Children's Services and Chief Nursing Executive to align goals and strategies
