Job Requirements

High School Diploma or its equivalent
current CPR license
certified LPN or RN license
at least 1 year experience in relevant nursing role
ability to perform physical and cognitive functions of the nursing position
compliance with company standards of operation
ability to maintain patient confidentiality
willingness to complete mandatory compliance training
completion of TB and IV certification within 60 days if applicable
background clearance as per company policy
eligibility to work in designated states excluding California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, and the District of Columbia

Job Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
license must be active, in good standing, and verifiable
current CPR license
TB and IV certification required within 60 days if applicable
at least 1 year of experience as an LPN or RN in a clinical setting preferred
experience in urgent care highly valued
ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively
knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards
demonstrated ability to handle administrative support tasks
aptitude for patient triage and basic clinical procedures
commitment to maintaining a positive and empathetic patient care environment

Job Duties

Fulfill all responsibilities of Patient Care Specialist and Scribe as specified
maintain friendly and cordial relations with employees
deliver clinical and administrative support adhering to company policies
adhere to core values including teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness
ensure compliance with federal and state regulations including HIPAA
prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake
triage patients by checking vitals, performing blood draws, administering injections
observe and report changes in patient condition
assist with lab testing and phlebotomy
assist providers in preparing for minor procedures and physicals
maintain supplies and equipment for treatment
assist patients with Virtual Medicine Provider services
ensure accurate and timely completion of patient charts
arrange referrals and obtain pre-authorizations as directed
maintain positive relationships with clients and employees
perform federal and non-federal DOT, BAT and drug screen exams
welcome and orient new employees
assist new employees with training and job shadowing
uphold physical and cognitive functions as required
comply with company standards and promote confidentiality
complete mandatory compliance training
maintain office cleanliness and professional appearance
perform other duties as assigned by management
assist with clerical duties such as patient check-in and insurance verification
work as part of the team answering telephones and returning messages professionally
