Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, or business field or seven years quality assurance leadership in engineered manufacturing business
- 7+ years nuclear quality program leadership experience complying with ASME BPVC Sections II and III, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ASME NQA-1, ISO 9001:2015
- Experience with ASME BPVC Section VIII, Div. 1, Section IX, Section I B31.1 quality programs
- Strong root cause problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal, written, and public speaking communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire teamwork
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
- Preferred certification CMQ/OE or similar
- Experience with European Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU
- Familiarity with French nuclear industry requirements RCC-M
- CIP Green Belt training or Lean Manufacturing experience
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering, operations, or business-related field
- 7+ years of demonstrated success leading or working in a nuclear quality program meeting ASME BPVC Sections II and III, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ASME NQA-1, and ISO 9001:2015 requirements
- Experience with quality programs meeting ASME BPVC Section VIII, Div. 1, Section IX, and Section I B31.1
- Strong root cause problem solving and analytical skills using frameworks like DMAIC
- Strong communication skills including verbal, written, and public speaking
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire teamwork
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
- Preferred certification as Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence
- Familiarity with European Pressure Equipment Directive and French nuclear industry requirements
- CIP Green Belt or Lean Manufacturing experience
Job Duties
- Provide leadership as well as strategic and tactical direction to the Quality Assurance team in support of the Raleigh business objectives
- Lead site-wide efforts to drive process and product defects out of daily work activities and deliverables
- Implement an effective root-cause analysis and corrective action management program
- Actively support the development of a vibrant Health, Safety and Environment culture
- Establish and maintain an effective team communication and performance management process
- Drive the deployment of Lean principles and partner with the site CI Manager to improve all internal Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes
- Develop a culture of employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, accountability, and job satisfaction
- Demonstrate unwavering commitment to Flowserve values and behaviors and maintain strict adherence to the Flowserve Code of Conduct
