Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • at least three years of related experience in administrative operations
  • strong time management, organizational, and attention to detail skills
  • demonstrated ability to take initiative and plan, organize, coordinate, and perform work in various situations with diverse demands
  • proficiency with Google and MS Office including Excel
  • experience with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • minimum one to three years experience working in college athletics department, conference office, or higher education

Job Qualifications

  • experience managing or hosting athletic or special events

Job Duties

  • Provide administrative knowledge to develop successful office standards
  • screen and direct phone calls and visitors
  • maintain the Director of Athletics calendar including scheduling and coordinating leadership team meetings
  • prepare, process and track payroll forms, onboarding paperwork, invoices, affiliation agreements, and other forms
  • assist game day operations and serve as an event coordinator for department meetings and athletics special events
  • regularly lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
  • supervise and train work-study students as needed
  • provide backup to other support staff
